Doylestown Hospital
Doylestown Hospital is a comprehensive, community-focused healthcare facility serving patients and families in the northern suburban communities of Philadelphia. Founded in 1923 by the Village Improvement Association (V.I.A.), energies are always directed toward providing a responsive, healing environment. Dr.
McGinn has conducted lectures to educate and train the nurses for transgender issues, and a transgender friendly environnment should be expected to be found at the Doylestown Hospital.

A guiding force behind the founding of Doylestown Hospital, the V.I.A., who still owns and oversees the operation of the hospital today recognized the need for public health initiatives and community healthcare services. From its inception as a 14-bed emergency and maternity hospital, Doylestown Hospital has grown into a regional healthcare resource encompassing more than 500 acute and long term care beds in three locations: Doylestown Hospital, Pine Run Health Care Center, and Pine Run Lakeview.
Areas of clinical emphasis include cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, maternal-child health, emergency medicine, oncology, critical care, interventional radiology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, pulmonology, urology and rehabilitation.
