Voice Therapy

Overview

Voice Therapy is provided by Renée Blaker at her office in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Renée has 40 years experience as a speech and language pathologist. She is licensed in the State of Pennsylvania, and certified by the American Speech, Language, Hearing Association. She is also a member of the American Academy of Private Practice in Speech Pathology and Audiology.

Renée has experience working with trans-patients, and understands the difficulties associated with transition and passing in regards to voice issues. For example, transwomen may not be in their female role all the time through transition. Many times individuals are not ready psychologically to change their voice. Renée has experience with these issues and works with patients to over come the difficulties they create.

Renée will help clients with body language as it relates to communication and voice therapy, such as gestures and posture.
